The success

What is the definition of success?

Today, it is an important topic whether people are truly running after success or if they simply achieve something and immediately consider themselves successful. In the present time, this is what most people lack — understanding when a person can truly call themselves successful.

Nowadays, people achieve anything, even something small, and start believing they are successful. This is their biggest illusion

If your family, your colleagues, or even someone below you—whether in position or in financial status—feel happy because of your behavior and the way you treat them, then you can call yourself a successful person.

Success does not mean getting a good job, completing a task, or achieving something material. These things only give satisfaction to the mind.

Wanting something and getting it is not success

No matter how great you become or how wealthy you are, if people are not happy with you and constantly speak negatively about you, then think for yourself — can you really consider yourself a successful person?

A king is not someone who only thinks about himself and takes care of his own comfort. A true king is one who works for the welfare of everyone — the entire community and all his people.

In the same way, what is the use of being rich or highly educated if a person only thinks about themselves?

We call Sir Ratan Tata a successful person because whatever wealth he earned, he used it for the welfare of society. Because of the Tata Group, countless families received employment. Many families became well-established and prosperous.

This is what true success is — thinking not only about yourself but also about others.
Sir Ratan Tata is just one example; there are many such truly successful people in the world.

What you achieved does not matter; what you gave is what truly matters.

If a person achieves something or accomplishes something and considers himself successful, that is fine — it is success in his own eyes, because whatever he did, he did it for himself.

But a person who not only succeeds for himself but also thinks about the world, about the welfare of others, and whose actions benefit many people and help many families through opportunities, employment, and support — the true definition of success suits such a person.

A person who achieves something only for his own happiness is also successful, but that success is only personal.
The one who works for the happiness and prosperity of others becomes truly successful.

True success is measured by how many lives you touch and uplift.

Success is inner satisfaction, not outer recognition.

In today’s time, no matter how much a person achieves or how much money they earn, if they are not happy from within, then all of it has no value.
What you gained or what you lost does not matter — a person must always feel happiness from within.

Nowadays, people are not happy even when they have more than they need, and they are equally unhappy when they have less. What is the meaning of such a life?
The true meaning of life is peace. Whatever you gain or lose, if after everything you are still happy from within, then you are truly successful.

If your mind is at peace and your heart is content, you are already successful.

Success means people feel happy because of you.

When your family, colleagues, and people around you appreciate your behavior and kindness, that is real success.

How much you earn or how much you achieve in life is not the real measure of greatness. What truly matters is how many people are happy because of you, how many people consider themselves lucky just to see you or be around you.

A person’s success is understood by seeing how many people are happy because of your behavior, your genuine intentions, and your good-hearted actions.
How many people feel proud because of you — that is the real definition of success.

Success is not just money or status.

Wealth and position are temporary. Good character and values are permanent.

A coin always has two sides, yet the biggest flaw in people’s thinking today is that they look at only one side of the coin and make judgments about everything. But life doesn’t work that way.

If today you have money and a good status, remember — it is only temporary. Yes, your status may improve in the future, or it may become worse. But nothing stays the same forever.
Whatever position you hold, whatever status you have, always keep in mind that it is only for a short time. Because the law of the universe is change. Destiny changes everything according to time.

After all the changes in life, only two things remain with you: your character and your values. These two are your true identity.
If you do not have any personal value, then no matter what status you have, it won’t matter to people in today’s world.

Success is becoming useful for others.

No matter how great you become or how wealthy you are, it does not make any difference to people in today’s time.
Your success is meaningful only when society benefits from it, when the poor and the helpless prosper because of you. Only then will people say that you are truly successful.

As I mentioned earlier, a perfect example is Sir Ratan Tata, who, along with achieving success for himself, always thinks about the welfare and betterment of the entire society.

Success grows when ego reduces.

In today’s time, whenever a person gets something they desire, no matter what they have inside, ego definitely appears. Ego destroys a person’s character. No matter how far you progress in life, you must never allow ego to enter your heart.

Ego distances a person from reality — from the truth of their own life. When ego rises within someone, they forget their true identity, who they originally were.

Always remember: no matter how big you become or how much you achieve, your final destination is the same as that of every poor or rich person — death.
That is why, no matter how much you grow or how much you accomplish, you must always destroy the ego within yourself.

Humility, respect, and compassion take a person further than pride ever can.

Success means continuous growth.

Learning, improving, and becoming a better human being every day is success.

The biggest weakness of a person is that once he achieves something, he gets stuck in it. He never wishes for anything beyond that. He gets entangled in what he already has, but he never thinks that there is much more outside of it.

That is why a person should always think about improving himself.
When you start trying to make yourself better, you will improve automatically — and you won’t even realize when you become a better version of yourself.

Success is shared happiness.

When others progress because of you, your success becomes meaningful.

When you become a successful person and still live in your reality, there is no one better than you.
Living in your reality means remaining the same person you were before, no matter how successful you become. You should always remember your past — who you used to be.

From that realization, you will naturally wish for everyone around you to become successful as well.
You will share your happiness with others, meaning you will motivate everyone to become better.
