This discipline is very important for a person to have within themselves. If you maintain discipline consistently in your life, your life will become bright and successful — there is no doubt about it.
All the great personalities and saints who existed in the past had exceptional discipline in their lives. Whatever decisions they made, they stood firmly by them. If they decided to do something, they did it; if they decided not to, they simply did not. They lived with this kind of steadfast nature. This strength comes only from one’s own discipline and values.

To bring yourself into discipline, you must first become mentally strong. Along with that, you need to take a firm resolution. Discipline is not something ordinary that you can decide today and achieve instantly. To follow it properly, you must first make yourself mentally prepared and strong for it.
Strong Mind set

You must train your mindset to a level where, once you make a decision, you adjust yourself completely according to it. To live with discipline, your mindset must be correct. This mind can easily fool a person.
For example, if you decide that you will wake up at 5 AM and you set an alarm, when the alarm rings, you wake up but then think, “Let me sleep for 10 more minutes, it’s only 5.” In that moment, your mind controls your body.

For discipline, you must keep your mind under your control. Whatever mindset you have set for yourself, stay committed to it no matter what. Do not allow yourself to come out of that mindset.
Yes, in the beginning it is difficult, but a time will come when you will control your mind instead of your mind controlling you. If you decide to quit something, you will be able to quit it instantly. Build such a mindset that you control your mind.
Practice is very important.

There is an English saying: “Practice makes a man perfect.” It means that if you keep doing something again and again, you slowly shape yourself according to it, and after some time that thing becomes a natural part of your daily routine. But for anything you decide to do, you must include it in your daily life with commitment.
For example, when someone starts going to the gym, the first 4–5 days feel exciting. But after a few days, they stop going. They say, “I’ll go tomorrow,” then the next morning again, “I’ll go tomorrow,” and with this “tomorrow, tomorrow,” they eventually stop altogether.

So, whenever you make a decision to do something, no matter what the situation is, you must bring it into priority and do it. Then, it will become such an essential part of your life that if you don’t do it someday, you will feel uneasy.
That’s why—whatever you do, do it regularly. With time, it will become your habit.
Remove the negative atmosphere from within yourself.

Inside every person, there are always two things: a positive mindset and a negative mindset. A person with a negative mindset can never keep themselves disciplined. If you look closely at someone who lives with discipline, you will find that they have very little negativity within them — if they are 90% positive, only about 2% negativity remains.
If you want to live with discipline, you must remove the negative thoughts from within yourself. Removing negative thinking will be a little difficult and will take some time, but once it leaves your mind, you will never struggle to bring yourself into discipline again.
You will have to think positively and push yourself forward.

It is very difficult to always pull yourself toward positive thinking. But if you want to bring discipline into your life, then you must push yourself in the direction of positivity. Yes, it may seem impossible, but when you sincerely desire something, the entire universe comes together to help you achieve it. Nothing is impossible—our way of thinking just needs to be right, and day by day we can improve ourselves from better to the best.
Always guide yourself toward positivity. You may fail once, but when you fail, you will gain experience — and with that experience, you will eventually succeed. And you must also remove all negative thoughts from your mind.
